Vergennes Opera House

Built 1897 restored in 1997 Operated by an all-volunteer board of directors, the VOH produces shows between October and late April. In 2026 installed: elevator tower for access the 2nd fl. theater; mechanical lift to access green room and the stage. This $2 million project took five years with donations from local community members, businesses, arts grantor organizations, state and federal government. Seating capacity is 285, with the balcony included.
